Who's it for
The Fast Track Diploma is available to all learners through levels 2 – 5 in Health and Social Care. Courses at each level are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to care for others in a broad range of health or social care settings.

How does
it work?
  • Flexible to suit all fields of health and social care. Learners, with the support of their industry-experienced assessor, will select from multiple pathways from working with people with a learning disability to people with dementia or children and young people. Naturally, input from management is always welcome.
  • Following a simple single page process for enrolment, all learners are entitled to a FREE one-day on-site assessor visit (or, two half-days), plus on-going telephone support from a fully qualified industry experienced assessor.
  • Training for the diploma is delivered online through our simple to use and fully transparent ePortfolio system.
  • The online assessment process is conducted using a variety of communication methods to suit the individual learner, such as Skype, telephone, email, and the ePortfolio software.

Frequently
asked questions

Direct Assessor support including onsite visits is specific to each training option. For the apprenticeship there will be contact once a month, delivered in the format best suited to the individual needs of the earner.


For the Fast Track Diploma, direct assessor on-site support is available free of charge for learners for one full day, or 2 half days. All other contact with will be remote skype, calls phone calls or ePortfolio access.

All on-site visits for either training option are scheduled around the needs of the care home, the learner and the employer.

On average for the Health and Social Care Apprenticeship the learner will complete 18 units. At each level, the precise number of units is dependent on the standards relevant to individual apprenticeships.


For the Fast Track Diploma at level 2 the learner will complete on average 12 units, ranging on average up to 16 units for level 5.

The Fast Track Diploma benefits from a faster completion timescale without having to fulfil a mandatory timeframe (as is the case with apprenticeships). Employers can apply for FULL reimbursement of funding for the qualification, subject only to successful completion and certification resulting in the qualification being free of charge. Much reduced administration at sign up and throughout the training if compared to the apprenticeship with no Ofsted or college inspections or involvement during the entire process.
